Coming a little late on news from last month, I'm beyond thrilled to write that the short film I've been working on since 2019 just won a major award. On September 20th 2025, the Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences (AMACC) awarded Shimmer with the coveted Ariel Award for Best Animated Short winner for its 67th edition.
We couldn't be possibly any prouder with this major achievement tand I'm deeply deeply grateful to whole team at Escena Animation Studio that made this possible.
