Studio Short Film: Orfanato de Estrellas

These posts are meant to showcase the work of my fellow teachers working at Escena Animation Studio. The studio is one of Escena's most cherished endeavors: a space where full time teachers can keep honing their skills as artists creating passion projects of their own and where interested students can polish what they've learnt in the classroom by working hand in hand with seasoned professionals in a production environment. I am not the creator of any these pieces, only an on-and-off collaborator and advisor.

Orfanato de Estrellas was directed by Boli Nolasco and produced by Natalia Garza. It was the first studio project to wrap up production after I took over as head of studio, and it holds a special place in my heart as an important milestone that proved to all the other artists working at EAS that they could put forth their ideas and we would look for ways to execute them.
