Shimmer - Short Film
Since 2019 I've been working on a 20 minute long animated short called Shimmer. This is a brief excerpt from the beginning of the film that we've been using as teaser for the whole short.
It's about a father and a daughter with too much hubris and too little grace for one another entrenched in a struggle that will forever tear them apart. It’s about repentance and understanding that come too late to fix what's been eroded by neglect.
I worked in many roles for this production. I co wrote it with Santiago Maza Stern, directed and produced it at Escena Animation Studio, and worked as its editor, production designer, CG supervisor, character modeler, texture artists and lighting TD.
